Finish Line Express has been a welcomed addition to our stallion battery. We can't even begin to explain how excited, honored and blessed we are to have a stallion of this caliber in our program.
Express is a 1998 sorrel stallion. He stands 15.2 hh and weighs approx. 1275 lbs. His disposition is exceptional. Express's colts have been a pleasure to train and ride. They all possess a ton of athleticism and an inherent desire to please. We can't wait to ride more colts out of this exceptional stallion.
Express is a completely proven horse, both as a performer and sire. He, himself has a 102 speed index and won $54,507 on the track. He ran AAA at all distances from 350 – 870 yards. He's a stakes winner and has sired AAA rated colts. Express was ranked as the #8 barrel futurity sire in the nation for 2008. Not only was he one of the youngest stallions on the top 10 list of barrel horse sires for 2008, but he has sired one of the highest futurity money earners, Larkin Six Express, with earnings in excess of $100,000. Express's pedigree is nothing but black type. His sire, Streakin Six, doesn't need any introduction. Express is both an accomplished and younger son of Streakin Six. His maternal line is just as impressive, being both proven and unlike any other Streakin Six son standing today. His dam, Design Express (by Merridoc), not only had a 100 speed index, but earnings in excess of $46,000.

His second dam, Charger Bar, had a 99 speed index, was an 8 time world champion running horse, and had $495,437 in earnings. This mare’s successful career as a performer and producer earned herself an induction into the AQHA Hall Of Fame.
We hold a lot of confidence in Merridoc as a leading maternal sire. The Tiny Charger and Tinys Gay breeding can be seen in the pedigrees of some of the leading performance lines in the industry. Very few stallions standing today can offer the maternal genetics of Finish Line Express.
As for our breeding program, we are matching Express with equally impressive mares. Quality mares are essential in a successful breeding program. We are honored to have developed an arsenal of direct daughters of some of the best barrel racing sires around to outcross with Finish Line Express!
We intend to retain some of the foals we raise from each crop, as a means to ride and prove what we are putting out there and to ensure a younger generation of O’Donnell Quarter Horses for the future of our breeding program.
