“Bugsie” became part of our program in late 2011 and is co-owned by Cody O’Donnell and Sue Goozen. We feel very strongly about Shawne Bug (SI 101, $277,023) as a broodmare sire and have always been open to the idea of one day having one in our program. From what we have been told, Bugsie was a barrel horse in Idaho, prior to becoming a broodmare and has had foals by both Frenchmans Guy and Dash Ta Fame. We are honored to have the opportunity to have this mare be a part of our program, not to mention having Sue as a business partner on this mare and her future foals. In 2012, Bugsie produced a stand out filly, Blazin Hott Lady, who has made her new home in Manitoba! Her 2013 Finish Line Express stud colt has definite stallion appeal! We can’t wait to see what else this fine mare will produce for us!
