Our stallions have the conformation, brains, and stamina to stand up to the rigors of every day ranch work or hard competition along with
purple pedigrees. Rope and Toro are calm, smart, and willing to accomplish whatever is put in front of them.
Their bloodlines bring the best of cow and speed to our breeding program.
At O’Donnell Quarter Horses, we are very proud of our stallions and believe that they should be more than just "mare breeders".
Both Rope and Toro are well broke and pull their weight on the ranch and in the arena.
Although Rope was injured as a two year old and taken off the campaign trail, he has been roped off of and has brought many calves to
the branding iron along with being used on the trail. Our son, Cody is currently gaming on Toro and has placed in the top ten of several gaming
events at the 2007 National Saddle Club O-Mok-See competition held in Vernal, Utah. 2007 was a banner year for Toro, taking home
his first saddle at our local 2007 barrel series in Whitehall, Montana. We are very proud of the fact that our studs aren’t just used for breeding, but for riding
and competing on, too.
