The horses for sale at O´Donnell Quarter Horses represent some of the most powerful pedigrees in the industry!
As we have said many times, "We are very proud of our stallions, but we put
our main emphasis on our mares!" We believe the mare is at least 60% of who and what a foal will be. That being said, we can’t be more confident in the
mares we own. Their conformations are correct, and most have proven themselves either on the ranch, on the track, in the arena, or as producers.
Our mares have very proven pedigrees and excellent dispositions.
Several of the pedigrees of our sale horses are a cross of foundation cow horse and proven running type bloodlines. We really believe in this type of cross. We feel this cross makes for a very athletic and diversified horse.
Whether you’re looking for a horse to ranch, show, trail, or rodeo on; we believe our horses will fill your needs. We sell most of our horses and weanlings private treaty and again will be guest consignors at the Annual Big Sky Country Performance Horse Sale.
This sale is nationally advertised and has a great offering of weanlings to solid broke ranch geldings.
We feel that this is a new milestone for our program and are truly blessed and honored to have our horses stand in Wayne and Doretta Pacheco’s sale.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We look forward to meeting you at either the sale or at our ranch. Our welcome mat is always out.
Information on the following 2008 foal crop to come, check back soon.
AQHA #4930265 2007 Chestnut Stallion
Here’s another outstanding colt that has as much class and substance as any colt we’ve owned. Spurr has the look and breeding to be a serious arena prospect. He is out of Sugars Kay. This mare always brings in one of our best. Spurr’s sire is Toro the Blurr, who is starting to make his own mark as a barrel horse. Spurr’s pedigree is loaded with speed and a shot of Two Eyed Jack will add some wow and cow to this classy colt. Murrtheblurr, Easy Jet, and Sugar Bars (on his papers!) makes him a very serious prospect for any arena he steps into.

Pocos Dry Peso
AQHA #4644350 2005 Chestnut Mare
This is a very elegant filly with a flawless conformation. She’s has a big powerful hip and a very keen head full of brains. Peso is bred in purple and will be an athlete. She has Dry Doc and Docs Little Pesco (both leading cow horse sires) on her papers. Then add the huge influence of Poco Bueno and Doc Bar on top by our senior stallion, Weavers Doc Ima Poco. All this great blood is in one awesome package. This filly has cow horse deluxe written all over her. She will make a great team penner or working cow horse. We started Peso in the spring of 2007. She has a great disposition and is very quick and natural. She definitely has the moves to be a cow horse. Peso will mature to be about 15.1 hh and weighs around 1100 lbs. She is a great investment opportunity.

AQHA #4950400 2007 Bay Stallion
stallion) Here is a definite stud prospect. This colt is actually a product of two of the most successful breeding programs in the nation. Weavers Quarter Horses and the John Scott Quarter Horses. We have sold two full siblings to this colt. One is standing in Drummond, Montana. The other is a mare that went to Sweden to be campaigned in the working cow horse arena. You need to see this fella to really appreciate him. If he is left a stallion we will retain two breeding a year. This colt was the reserve champion weanling halter stallion at the 2007 Montana Gold Futurity.

Doc Weavers Sugar
AQHA #4654242 2005 Sorrel Gelding
This breeding produced an outstanding horse. Doc Weavers Sugar is out of an own granddaughter of the legendary Sugar Bars and our senior stallion Weavers Doc Ima Poco. This is truly another awesome colt by Sugars Kay. Doc Weavers Sugar could be a champion halter and horse. He looks that good! Along with his good looks, he has a great disposition.
All of the colts out of Weavers Doc Ima Poco are almost born broke and this guy was no exception. Doc Weavers Sugar wanted to be broke. He was an absolute dream to start. Zero buck and tons of “want to please ya.” We started Doc Weavers Sugar in the spring of 2007 and found him to be gentle and very willing. After 45 very successful rides, we turned him out. We’ll pick him up again this winter for another 45 rides. This gelding should mature to15.1 hh and weigh around 1150 lbs. . If pedigree means anything this colt will go into any arena you choose and get’er done

AQHA #4795592 2006 Sooty Buckskin Gelding
He’s by our senior stallion, Weavers Doc Ima Poco. His dam is Credit Card Blurr, who is also the dam of our stallion, Toro The Blurr. This package puts great working cow horse and speed horse blood in one really good looking horse. Cash is a very friendly horse with a near perfect conformation and a sooty buckskin color. Two of Cash’s full siblings are being campaigned as barrel and gaming horses by Lori Dunagan of Whitehall, Montana and Dave Ogle of Canyon Creek, Montana. The reports we have received on these two horses are that they are very willing and were effortless to start under saddle. Cash will make a great ranch and arena horse. His disposition will allow him to make an awesome youth project, too.

Im Lookin Sassy
AQHA #3391550 1995 Bay Mare
Sassy is a 15 hh and weighs 1100 lbs. This is a very athletic horse with a big motor. She is our daughter Amber’s horse that she started and trained, herself.
Sassy is a solid 2D barrel horse and runs 21 second poles. She’s won 2 saddles, lots of money, and many other awards. Sassy is a very competitive and excels in the O-Mok-See arena. She and Amber have consistently placed in the top 10 at the National O-Mok_See championships in the past 5 years. Our son, Cody, has also won on her at various O-Mok-See events.
Sassy would make an outstanding high school or youth rodeo horse. She is very consistent and could take a kid far in both the rodeo and O-Mok-See arenas.

AQHA #3260924 1994 Bay Mare
This mare would be an asset to any breeding program. She is broke to ride and has a handle on her like a Cadillac. This mare can spin on a dime and will really go after a cow. Along with her athleticism is her great disposition and her pretty head. She has had two nice stud colts sired by our senior stallion, Wavers Doc Ima Poco. She was left open for 2008 partly because she was being ridden and we wanted to move back her foaling date. We guarantee her 100% breeding and riding sound. If she isn’t sold by Spring, we plan on breeding he again to Weavers Doc Ima Poco. The reason for selling this mare is simply because we are downsizing the broodmare herd and we feel that she has more potential than the time we have to put into her. This s a mare that would make a great youth cutting horse and she has already proved to be a phenomenal broodmare!

Talk about a major league pedigree. All the stars are right on her papers. Dash For Cash falls just off her papers twice! She also traces two times to Easy Jet. This filly has the look to justify the pedigree she possesses. She is a definite candidate for the track, being that her sire is AAA and her dam is AA! She will also have the speed to make it in the barrel futurities. After she’s done setting the world on fire, she will become a phenomenal broodmare!

Gay Bars Joe Frost
AQHA #4227562 2002 Chestnut Mare
"Joey" is a kind mare with a proven set of papers. She is sired by the great Weaver stallion, PC Joes Frost, and out of a MY LEROY BROWN daughter. This mare is that classy chocolate chestnut color and is solid muscle. Joey is broke to ride, but has had very limited hauling. She has all the makings to be a successful arena horse, however; we have been too busy to put the time into her that she needs. Following her arena career, she would make a great broodmare. Nominated for the futurities.

Sen For Freckles
AQHA #4950399 1997 Sorrel Mare In Foal!
Sen For Freckles is about as nice of a mare as you’ll find anywhere. Prior to becoming an outstanding broodmare she was used and won
money as a cutting horse. She’s an own daughter of Case of Freckles who won more than $90,000 and sired more than $1,000,000.
Freckles has produced fantastic foals by both of our stallions. In April '08, she foaled a beautiful chestnut filly by Weavers Doc Ima Poco and
is bred back to him for another fabulous 2009 baby. Freckle’s foals are usually the first to sell.

Sugars Kay
AQHA #4227562 1998 Sorrel Mare IN FOAL!
Sugars Kay, what a great producer! We have had three of her colts, all by different sires.
In 2007 she produced another racy stud colt sired by “Toro The Blurr”. These colts all have that beautiful Sugar Bars head,
big powerful hips, and great willing dispositions. Sugar comes right out of the Hunt’s program in South Dakota.
We are proud to have our brand on her. Sugars Kay packs a very proven pedigree emphasizing on Sugar Bars with a hint of Two Eyed Jack.
Finding Sugar Bars right on a set of papers in this day and age, is getting harder and harder to find. Sugar Bars will appear on every one of her foals’ papers, too.
Check her colts out. They have great minds and are born broke. Her 2008 Red Dun Filly by our senior stallion, Weavers Doc Ima Poco is going to be something!
Sugar is bred back to Toro The Blurr for a equaly impressive 2009 foal.
